 Shabbat

Shabbat is a time of great spiritual energy at Temple Beth-El.  Using the Gates of Prayer (CCAR), we pray, sing, and let our Judaism connect us to God.

From September through May, Friday evening services alternate between 6:00PM and 7:30PM. The early Friday (6PM) service is generally linked to a Saturday morning Torah study at 9AM plus Service at 10:15. This pair of services is generally the first and third Friday/Saturday of the month. The later Friday services are held at 7:30PM and are followed by an Oneg Shabbat reception.  Wednesday services at 4:45PM are held in conjunctoin with the Center for Jewish Living. During the summer months, services are on Friday evenings at 6:00.  After these summer services, it has become a tradition for many worshippers to go out to dinner together.
